At Hirepal (product of Studymitr AI Private Limited), we are always happy to see our products and services helping you to accomplish your career goals. However if you think you need to get a return or refund, please, read the section below.

General terms related to returns and refunds

Since we provide non-tangible, irrevocable goods, we do not issue returns for digital products or services that you access on our platform.

Opening a new account on our platform is free. Creating a resume and converting your resume into a shareable web link is also free. While most actions on our platform is free to use, there are some user actions that are paid.

To access paid actions such as downloading your resume, cover letter or other paid actions, you will have to purchase a plan that fits your goals and requirements.

Once you make the payment for a plan, it is deemed that you have purchased products and services equivalent to the plan terms. You will receive an invoice for the same on your email. You can also view your Invoices in the “My Plans” page.

Generally, we do not allow refunds of paid plans purchased on the platform.

Refunds related to technical problem:

As the platform provider, we can issue a refund of your purchase, if there is a technical problem and we can't help you to resolve the matter or if there was a misrepresentation in the product description. In those cases the refund period is 60 days from the moment of the purchase.

We consider a technical problem to be one of the following:

  1. Non-delivery of the product/services: due to some mailing issues of your e-mail provider or your own mail server, you might not receive an invoice from us on your preferred communication channel. In this case, we recommend contacting us for assistance. You can also download your invoice from the “My Plans” page.
  2. Major defects: although all the products are thoroughly tested before release, unexpected errors may occur. Such issues must be reported directly to our customer service team.
  3. Product not-as-described: such issues must be reported to our technical support within 7 days from the date of the purchase. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the product description page. Complaints which are based merely on the customer's false expectations or wishes are not honoured.

In the instances that you raise a refund request due to technical problem, we will notify you once we've received and inspected your issue, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

In a description available on the preview page of each product we specify the third-party software (plug-ins, add-ons, modules, search engines, scripts, extensions etc) that is compatible with our products. Please kindly note that we do not bear any responsibility and therefore we do not satisfy any refund/return/exchange requests based on incompatibility of our products with some third-party software that is not specified in our products' descriptions.
